Tamarind Chilli Potato Recipe: Starter for grand parties
Tamarind Chili Potato Recipe is a flavoursomestarter that can be served in dinner party. The spicy potato and pungent taste which is delicious. Below is the recipe for of Tamarind Chili Potato Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 3 boiled potato (diced)
- 1 onion (cut in smallpieces)
- 3-4 tablespoon tamarind paste
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 4 garlic cloves(chopped)
- 2 tablespoon cashewnut (chopped)
- Curry leaves
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander chopped
- 3-4 tablespoon oil
- 1 tablespoon carom seeds
- 2-3 fresh red chillies
Procedure:
- At first wash and boil the potatoes and keep them aside.
- In a pan, heat small quantity of oil and add peeled potatoes. Sauté them till they turn into golden brown.
- Take out the potatoes from the pan and keep it aside.
- In the same pan add some more oil and add carom seeds once the oil is hot.
- Then add cashew nuts and sauté till it becomes golden brown. Again, add garlic and onions and sauté till they are transparent.
- Then add the red chillies and curry leaves leave it for a minute.
- After this, add tamarind paste and some sugar, and mix well and add salt as per taste.
- When tam rind paste is cooked well, add the potatoes and allow it to cook for 2 – 3 minutes.
- Put of the flame and garnish with coriander leaves. To look good, it can also garnished with til (Sesame seed).
- Keep it in a serving plate and serve them.
