Jaigarh fort

The grandest of the three-hilltop forts overlooking Jaipur, Jaigarh Fort offers breathing view across Amber fort and Maota Lake below. Made of red sandstone Built for defending the city of Jaipur, it houses an array of buildings, gardens, and reservoirs. Here you will find Jaivana cannon, the largest cannon on wheels in the world. Almost 100kg of powder was needed to fire a shot from this cannon.

A steep 20-minute climb from Amber will lead you to the Jaigarh fort.
