Tel Aviv, Aug 24 (IANS/WAM) US President Donald Trump's son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner will meet Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Thursday as part of a US-led effort to rekindle the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.
Kushner is visiting Israel and the West Bank as Palestinian officials earlier expressed dismay about Washington's approach to the peace process.
US envoy for international negotiations Jason Greenblatt and Deputy National Security Adviser Dina Powell are also part of the delegation.
On Wednesday, Kushner met Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sissi to discuss the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. The meeting came as Washington decided to cut and delay parts of its annual aid to Cairo, upsetting Egyptian officials.
