A keen contest among the BJP, SP and BSP is on the cards for the coming 2017 assembly election to Tulsipur. The BJP candidate from the Shrawasti Lok Sabha constituency, Daddan Mishra, had established a lead of 27076 votes over his nearest SP rival Atiq Ahmad in the Tulsipur assembly segment in 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
