As things stand today, Tarabganj is all set for triangular contest among BJP, SP and BSP. In 2014 parliamentary general elections, the BJP candidate from Kaiserganj parliamentary seat, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh had led over his nearest SP rival Pandit Singh by a margin of 21446 votes in the Tarabganj assembly segment.
