The coming 2017 assembly election to Sri Nagar is all set for an intense contest among BJP, BSP and SP. In the Lok Sabha elections in 2014, Sri Nagar assembly constituency had given the BJP candidate Ajay Kumar a lead of 18493 votes over his nearest BSP rival Arvind Giri.
