Malihabad assembly constituency is all set for a keen contest among BJP, BSP and SP. The constituency had given a massive lead of 47097 votes to the BJP candidate from the Mohanlalganj Lok Sabha constituency, Kaushal Kishore. It was a remarkable performance by BJP which had secured just 3300 votes in the Malihabad assembly constituency in 2012 assembly polls.
