Dibiyapur assembly constituency had given a lead to the BJP Lok Sabha candidate form Etawah Ashok Kumar Doharey a lead of 47187 votes in the last parliamentary general elections held in 2014. However, the Modi wave is in decline in the Dibiyapur constituency and BJP is not on a strong wicket.
