It was the huge lead of 53449 votes secured in the Chandausi assembly constituency by the BJP candidate from Sambhal parliamentary seat, Satyapal Singh Saini, that he was able to win the Sambhal Lok Sabha seat by a narrow margin of 5,174 votes in 2014.
