In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP candidate from the Bhadohi Lok Sabha constituency, Virendra Singh, had established a lead of 25818 votes over his nearest BSP rival Rakesh Dhar Tripathi in the Bhadohi assembly segment.
