A tough quadrangular contest is in the offing for Aligarh where BJP or SP can have the last laugh. In 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP candidate from Aligarh parliamentary seat, Satish Kumar had secured a lead of 26464 votes over his nearest SP rival Zafar Alam in the Aligarh assembly segment.
