In 2014 Lok Sabha general elections, Nabha assembly segment had given the AAP candidate from Patiala parliamentary seat, Dharam Vira Gandhi, a lead of 14497 votes over his nearest Congress rival Preneet Kaur who received 37690 votes in this assembly segment. The BJP supported Akali Dal nominee Deepinder Singh Dhillon came third with 27172 votes in the assembly constituency.
