A multi-cornered contest is on cards at Oussudu assembly constituency. Apart from the candidates put up by the AINRC, the Congress and the AIDMK, some Independents, including an AINRC rebel, are in fray.
While the sitting Oussudu AINRC MLA P. Karthikeyan has been dropped by the party to contest the seat in 2016 assembly elections to the Union Territory of Puducherry, MLA Congress has made E. Theepanjan its nominee for the seat. P. Karthikeyan has entered the fray as an independent.
