Bhagabanpur Assembly Elections 2016

After its win in 2011, Trinamool Congress (TMC) has been able to consolidate its place in the Bhagabanpur assembly constituency. The CPM, plagued by internal feuds, has lost ground resulting in the demoralization of its cadres. BJP though better placed than Congress is not in a position to challenge the hegemony of the TMC.
