Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) is a jointly organized by Lakme, a leading cosmetics and beauty brand and IMG Fashion, a global leader in the management and production of fashion weeks and designer fashion events. It's one of the premier fashion weeks in the country and is always well attended by the best in the business. LFW is organized twice annually. LFW Summer / Resort 2012 will be held on 11th to 15th March'11 at Hotel Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. LFW is always known to continuously push boundaries and produce quality designs that are created and showcased by the best in the industry. One of the key characteristics of LFW is its one of the most popular fashion shows of international acclaim. Lakme India Fashion Week has always ensured that the 'Made In India' labels become more credible in value. Some of the top designers include Anita Dongre, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, Anamika Khanna, Ashima-Leena, Ashish and Smita Soni. This season renowned stylist and designer Aki Narula will mentor and guide the Gen Next applicants. Also veteran designer Rohit Bal is now a member of the LFW Advisory Board.

Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) has announced the dates for the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2012 which is scheduled to be held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from April 6-10, 2012. The summer collection held in October last year created ripples in the fashion industry. IFW is one of India's most premier fashion events and it attracts the most talented of designers and models all across the country and also from abroad. It is also often considered Asia's biggest business of fashion and the event is always expected to bring splendid collections from Indian designers on the runway and the exhibition area. The fashion fiesta is now 17 seasons old. The event happens in Delhi every year and is sponsored by Wills Lifestyle. This event is one of the top fashion weeks that happen in India, showcasing the collections of more than 130 fashion designers. The designer list includes names like Sabhyasachi, Ritu Beri, Rohit Bal, Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna, Tarun Tahiliani and Wendell Rodricks.
CIFW Summer Showers 2010 created waves with top end designers and models coming together to deliver a multinational and diverse fashion experience. The event held at the plush Royal Meridien hotel proved to be a meeting point with over 25 designers, jewelers and brands that were showcased from Srilanka , Bangladesh , Mauritius , Singapore , Dubai and of course India. CIFW was launched in 2009 with the aim of establishing and promoting Chennai as a prestigious fashion capital of the country. Chennai International Fashion Week has already gained a lot of attraction for its diversity and internationality in the field of fashion. The main sponsors of the event include Gitanjali, Lifestyle, Kingfisher and Le Royal Meridien. Storm Fashion Company looks after and organizes the event. CIFW will be back in April 20011 with bigger, better and more diverse creations.
Hyderabad Fashion Week (HFW) is conceptualized to envisage, promote and address the Hyderabad Based fashion industry. HFW happens to be one of a very few reputed fashion platforms that you will find in the world of Indian fashion. The main objective behind conducting the event being of that of fabricating a platform for the budding and creative fashion designers so that their creations with a focus on building better and profitable business opportunities, relationships and growth in the Hyderabad fashion industry. Last years turned out to be a great success with many high profile designers showcasing some of their best works. The designers include Neeta Lulla, Pria Kataria Puri, Abdul Halder, Jatin Varma amongst others. The event organizers have announced about HFW 2012 in January. Dates are yet to be announced.
