Education In Rajasthan

   The state government has taken up several schemes for the large enrolment of students at school level. The state has some premier educational institutes like

Education Of Rajasthan   Rajasthan has 9 universities, 8 medical colleges, 8 dental colleges, 28 pharmacy institutes, 41 engineering colleges, 26 management institutes, 23 polytechnics, 250 colleges, 152 ITIs, 55,000 schools among others.

   Jaipur is the home for several prominent schools like Jaipur School, Mahaveer School, Mayura School, Neerja Modi School, Jaipur Vidyalaya, Maharani Gayathri Devi Girls Public School, Su-Bodh Public School among others.

   Other cities and towns in the state like Bikaner, Ajmer, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Kota and others are the major centres for education in the state. Board of Secondary Education of Rajasthan is the governing body for the school education in the state.

   Rajasthan has the literacy rate of 67.1 % as per the figures of census 2011.
