The National People’s Party (NPP) leader V. Hangkhanlian’s entry into the BJP has come as a shot in the arm for the party which is eyeing to wrest power from the Congress in the 2017 Manipur Assembly elections. NPP had also merged with the BJP. The merging of the NPP, which has a strong base in Thanlon assembly constituency, can come in handy for the BJP
