BJP is all set to field make BJP Patsoi Mandal State counsellor Chungkham Bijoy (Thoiba) for the upcoming 2017 assembly election to Patsoi. Though the party had not a strong presence in the constituency in the past, it had secured 4733 votes in the last Lok Sabha elections in 2014.
