Sony Pictures will bring the charming and suave secret service agent- Bond…James Bond in India on 7th November 2008. Daniel Craig will be back on the silver screen as James Bond with cars, gadgets, guns, gals, high octane adventures and his license to kill in this 22nd James Bond film Quantum of Solace. This is the 22nd James Bond adventure in the longest running franchise in film history.
For the first time in the history of Hollywood, a film will release first in India, followed by USA. Quantum of Solace will release in USA after a week on 14th November 2008. Mr. Kercy Daruwala, Managing Director, Sony Pictures Releasing India says, "We are delighted to have such a huge franchise in our lineup. James Bond has a huge equity in this country and Bond films have always been a hit here. November 7, will see the biggest roll out for any Hollywood film in India as we would like to give our audiences the thrill of seeing “Quantum of Solace” even before U.S. does. Our Endeavour is to make it the biggest, best Bond film ever."
Quantum of Solace is a sequel to 2006’s Bond flick Casino Royale, which was based on Ian Fleming's novel. The film is directed by German-Swiss film maker, Marc Forster. It also stars Olga Kurylenko, Gemma Arterton, Dame Judi Dench, Jeffrey Wright and Giancarlo Giannini.
QUANTUM OF SOLACE continues the high octane adventures of James Bond (Daniel Craig) in Casino Royale. Betrayed by Vesper, the woman he loved, 007 fights the urge to make his latest mission personal. Pursuing his determination to uncover the truth, Bond and M (Judi Dench) interrogate Mr White (Jesper Christensen) who reveals the organisation which blackmailed Vesper is far more complex and dangerous than anyone had imagined. Forensic intelligence links an MI6 traitor to a bank account in Haiti where a case of mistaken identity introduces Bond to the beautiful but feisty Camille (Olga Kurylenko), a woman who has her own vendetta. Camille leads Bond straight to Dominic Greene (Mathieu Amalric), a ruthless businessman and major force within the mysterious organisation.
On a mission that leads him to Austria, Italy and South America, Bond discovers that Greene, conspiring to take total control of one of the world’s most important natural resources, is forging a deal with the exiled General Medrano (Joaquín Cosio). Using his associates in the organisation, and manipulating his powerful contacts within the CIA and the British government, Greene promises to overthrow the existing regime in Bolivia, giving the General control of the country in exchange for a seemingly barren piece of land. In a minefield of treachery, murder and deceit, Bond allies with old friends in a battle to uncover the truth. As he gets closer to finding the man responsible for the betrayal of Vesper, 007 must keep one step ahead of the CIA, the terrorists and even M, to unravel Greene’s sinister plan and stop ‘Quantum’.

The beautiful Ukrainian Born Actress, former model and now the Bond Girl in upcoming 007 film, Olga Kurylenko, has revealed that she is afraid of heights. Olga is the new Bond girl who casts opposite Daniel Craig, the James Bond in Quantum of Solace (QOS), which releases this November, 7. "Yes, I don't like heights and I am an acrophobic" she admits.
