Nicolas Cage is an Hollywood Actor. He was born on January 7 in 1964. His original name is Nicolas Kim Coppola. NIcolas father August Coppola he is a professor of literature and his mother Joy Vogelsang a dancer and choreographer.
He attended UCLA School of Theatre, Film, and Television. His first non-cinematic acting experience was in a school production of Golden Boy.
He acted over 60 films .
Nicolas Cage is one of Hollywood's highest paid actors he earning $40 million. Cage claimed to have created a new method of acting he calls "Nouveau Shamanic". He claims to have used the acting style throughout his career and one day plans to write a book about the method.
He won Academey Award for Best performance as a suicidal alcoholic in Leaving Las Vegas movie. He nominated Acamdemy Award for Two times.
Nicolas Cage is a Comic book fan and he is a collector of painter and underground comic artist Robert Williams. He has written introductions for Juxtapoz magazine and purchased the painting Death On The Boards.
In May 2001 California State University Honoured Nicolas, they awarded Nicolas an 'Honorary Doctorate' in Fine Arts.
