The Election Commission has announced that the Jharkhand Assembly Elections which will be held in five phases will commence from November 27.
The voting will end by December 18 and the votes will be counted on December 23.
The previous assembly was dissolved on October 22.The state has been under President's rule since Jan 19, 2009 after then the Chief Minister, Shibhu Soren lost a by-election and was forced to resign.
